The Mukase African Restaurant is a Ghanaian restaurant in Uptown Chicago with a second location in Bolingbrook. The food is the draw. The question was how to get people who see the ad to actually drive there.
What we did
We built a Meta ad that sends people straight to Google Maps directions, so one tap turns into a route. We paired it with a short point-of-view food video built for awareness, shot right in the kitchen.
Results
May 1 to Oct 13, 2026: 23,371 taps to get directions at about 7 cents each, a 12.95% click-through rate, and 125,183 people reached. The POV video earned 38,408 ThruPlays at 2 cents each (Apr 14 to Aug 31, 2026) and reached 82,098 people.
These are taps to directions reported by Meta, not tracked visits.
What we would do next
Test a second creative angle and extend the directions ad to the Bolingbrook location, so each store gets its own radius.
